A pair of notable mid-century diamond and pearl earrings.. The 1950s brought a return to a classic diamond look for the Maison, as well as the concept of convertibility for a variety of wear. Each surmount features a gorgeous round pearl surrounded with a halo of alternating marquise and baguette-cut diamonds, suspending a pear-shaped drop pearl capped with a floret of round brilliant diamonds. The pearls are rare and of the natural saltwater variety. Formed in a mollusk with no human interference, natural pearls comprise an estimated 5% of the pearls on the market today.
All four pearls match beautifully, with a white to silver/grey hue, brilliant luster, pink/blue overtones, and a moderately clean surface. Diamond weight approx. 10.00 carats total.
